  1. What is CETA?
    CETA, or the Controlled Environment Testing Association, is a non-profit trade association devoted to promoting and developing quality assurance within the controlled environment testing industry.
  2. How Do I Join CETA?
    To become a member of CETA, please download the membership application, fill it out and send it to our headquarters with appropriate payment. There are three levels of membership to choose from:
    1. Affiliate: Any person employed by a government agency or university who has an interest of involvement with the certification of controlled environments. These members may have in-house certification programs, but may not offer such services outside of their organization.
      Annual Membership Fee: $100.00
    2. Individual: Any person involved with the testing and certification of controlled environments.
      Annual Membership Fee: $250.00
    3. Corporate: Any company or corporation with an interest or involvement in the testing and certification of controlled environments. Corporate members are entitled to designate three individuals to serve as representatives to the association. Corporate members and their representatives are eligible to have both email and Web site links on CETA's Web site.
      Annual Membership Fee: $575.00
      Each additional representative: $50.00
  3. Why Should I Join CETA?
    Becoming a member of CETA not only offers scholarly publications, access to the annual meeting, and a network of other professionals, it is an opportunity to be recognized as a leader in the controlled environment field.   4. How Often Is the Spec Guide Produced?
    The Spec Guide is produced annually, but updates may be sent out during the course of the year. If you purchase a Spec Guide, you will be given the opportunity to sign up to receive these updates for an additional $50 annual renewal fee.
  5. When can we expect a new version of the Troubleshooting Guide?
    The purpose of this guide is to facilitate in the troubleshooting of laminar flow biological safety cabinets. We are currently revising the Troubleshooting Guide and, if you are a member, we will advise you when it is available.
