CETA Cancels the 2020 Annual Conference Previously Scheduled for May 1-4, 2020 in Myrtle Beach, SC. as of 3/19/2020

CETA’s main priority has always been the health and safety of the community.  We have been actively monitoring the developments of the COVID-19 outbreak and based on uncertainties, we've made the tough decision to cancel the CETA 2020 Annual Conference.

As CETA has been actively monitoring developments related to the evolution of COVID-19, the association has assembled an internal task force to consider guidelines provided by the World Health Organization, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and state and local health organizations to assess its current and potential impact.

We have also worked with the Marriott Grande Dunes in Myrtle Beach, SC to re-schedule our conference to April 8-12, 2022.

In the meantime, please save the date for the 2021 CETA Annual Conference! April 23-27, 2021 at The Peppermill Resort Spa Casino in Reno, NV.

For your meeting registration, all funds will be refunded back to the credit card that was used to secure your registration. If you paid by check, you will be contacted inquiring where to send the refund check. Please be patient as the office processes all these refunds.

In regards to your hotel reservation, the Marriott Grande Dunes will be cancelling all reservations currently made and refunding any funds that were paid back to the original credit card. If you made your reservation at another hotel or rented an Air B&B or otherwise, please remember to cancel your hotel room.

Participants are encouraged to contact their airline directly regarding ticketing.

There will also be further developments regarding the nominations process for 2020 due to the annual meeting being cancelled.

We will continue to communicate regularly to inform everyone of event news and updates as they develop.  Thank you for your continued support of CETA.

Stay safe. Be well.
